At Career Beginnings LLC, I aim to be a supplement to higher education, offering a unique, individualized approach to career coaching. I know that students are offered advising and career counseling in college but find that too often they are not taking advantage of or making the most of these resources. In addition, many offices are understaffed with high caseloads and do not have the time to give each student the weekly, highly personalized attention that I can.

I get to know my clients through weekly, one-on-one sessions with the goal of developing their career readiness skills and finding them the best personality/career fit. After a decade working in higher education, I have seen firsthand that many young professionals are jumping into careers before taking the time to explore and reflect on their strengths, values, interests, and abilities, therefore ending up in early careers that are not a good match. Additionally, many recent graduates have never been taught the basics when it comes to professionalism in the workplace. I aim to set my clients up for career success through my individualized, hands-on approach.

College students may meet with an advisor once or twice per semester or enroll in a career course with fifty other students. I offer something unique: personalized, one-on-one coaching every single week. It's as if the client is the only person enrolled in a career crash course.
